Massage Therapy & Shiatsu Massage

Massage Therapy

Therapeutic massage reduces pain, promotes circulation, restores balance, calms the nervous system, and helps with injury recovery and prevention. A massage session can be for relaxation or can include focused work on certain muscles as requested. I specialize in medium to deep pressure as an overall experience. I blend a variety of techniques that help to give you more freedom in your body and less stress overall. Your massage will take place in my office. (Note that these sessions do not include Shiatsu bodywork.)

Shiatsu Massage

Shiatsu is a traditional Japanese form of massage done on a floor mat. You will remain fully clothed, and no oil or lotion is used. The massage is based on concepts from traditional Chinese medicine and uses finger pressure, palms, knuckles and thumbs to activate the body’s chi (life energy) to balance and flow naturally.

Many of the same meridian points are pressed as in acupuncture, but in Shiatsu they are pressed with fingers, not needles. After the session, you will feel fully relaxed and balanced.

10 Minute Breathwork Add On

Clarity Breathwork is the practice of circular, connected breathing used for healing, expanded awareness, and accessing higher states of consciousness.

  • I’ve had quite a few massages at this point in my life. None have been as comprehensive or as effective as Daniel’s. He has advanced techniques that I have never experienced in a massage and took the time to learn about my body and situation before beginning the massage. When you put this amount of education and experience together in one package, you get an experience that is truly life changing. Thank you for your care and attention Daniel—it has indeed been life changing. I look forward to booking many more outstanding sessions as you further advance your technique.

  • I couldn't have asked for more working with Daniel! I really appreciated his expertise, knowledge and how diligently he worked around my disc issues. He's great at finding where you are at in regards how much pressure he provides. He starts slow, builds it up and communicates from the start to make sure that you are comfortable with the whole process from start to finish. As a health professional myself, it was really easy to trust Daniel after a simple consultation hearing how passionate he is about his work and how everything he does has a scientific basis to improve your body.

  • Daniel is a true healer. I’ve been a client of his for more than a year and met weekly with him for 90-min massage for a long while. He is a gifted, compassionate, mindful massage therapist. He listens, he remembers. No massage is the same and every single one is so exactly what is needed. His lovely energy and humor are part of his magic. Every massage is a transformation.

  • After my car accident, I’ve been dealing with constant neck and lower back pain, and Daniel truly helped me heal. He’s not only highly skilled and knowledgeable about body mechanics — he seems to have special healing hands. Every session left me feeling looser, lighter, and noticeably better. Daniel listens carefully, tailors each massage to what your body needs that day, and has a calm, caring presence that makes the whole experience restorative. I’ve seen many massage therapists over the years, and Daniel stands out as one of the very best. I can’t recommend him enough for anyone recovering from injury or looking for real, therapeutic relief.

  • Daniel is so very warm and caring! He really listened to me when I explained my situation of having hypermobility spectrum disorder. I felt confident and comfortable trying shiatsu for the first time and I felt a positive shift afterwards. It's also very convenient to book appointments online. Can't wait for my next session!
